Our Story

SISESOL grew out of a frustration that anyone who has shopped for a metal storage cabinet knows well. The budget options look fine in photos, but the steel is thin, the powder coating chips within months, and the locks feel like afterthoughts. The commercial-grade units built to last decades cost four or five times more than most households can justify for a garage cabinet or office file organizer.

Our founding team spent years inside steel furniture manufacturing. We ran production lines. We tested welds, finishes, hinges. We knew the cost breakdown of every component in a cabinet, and we knew that the gap between flimsy and overpriced was a manufacturing choice, not an economic inevitability. A company could build residential-price furniture at commercial-grade quality if it made deliberate decisions about materials, tooling, and supply chain.

We started SISESOL with one product: a 72-inch tall metal storage cabinet made from cold-rolled steel with a full powder-coated finish. Cold-rolled steel costs more than hot-rolled, but it holds tighter tolerances and produces a smoother surface. The powder coating bonds to that surface through an electrostatic process and curing cycle that creates a finish resistant to rust, scratches, and household chemicals. We borrowed the 3-point locking mechanism from commercial lockers, the kind used in schools and government buildings, because a cabinet that stores tools, documents, or cleaning supplies needs a lock that works.

That first cabinet sold well. Customers noticed the steel thickness, the lock quality, the adjustable shelves that held weight without bowing. Reviews mentioned the same details our team had obsessed over during development. The positive response gave us confidence to expand.

We designed a flat-pack system that lets you assemble any SISESOL cabinet in about 30 minutes with a Phillips screwdriver and a rubber mallet. Every part ships numbered.
